The device has upper and lower pivots (20, 30) mounted on a door frame (1) for being actuated by a mobile bolt (9). The bolt is carried by an opening frame (3) in order to be selectively placed either in a free position, in which the pivots let the frame (3) free, or in a locking position, in which the pivots cooperate with the frame (3) for locking the frame (3) in a closing position. The pivots have a center of gravity shifted with respect to an articulation axis, such that the pivots are displaced towards the free position by the gravity effect when the pivots are mounted on the frame (1).
