The panel has a resistive heating wire forming a heating system and fixed to the back of a mirror (3). A battery connected to a solar panel (8) is housed in a case, where the panel assures the power supply for the battery. The battery is connected to the wire using a switch that is controlled by an electronic hygrometric and thermal sensor system. The electronic system automatically controls the supply of the wire, when ambient temperature is below a given temperature and/or humidity is over a preset hygrometric percentage, so as to de-ice or demist the mirror.
