PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance test for deciding the performance for removing fine particles in a membrane, and to provide a new method for testing the integrity to verify whether the membrane, after use is within a preset range in the performance for removing fine particles.;SOLUTION: The particle removal performance is measured, with a solution containing ferric hydroxide colloidal particles having an average particle diameter of 9-70 nm as test solution. By containing a plurality of water-soluble components for stabilizing the colloidal particles, the stabilization of the colloidal particles is increased. Performance for removing particles in the membrane is evaluated by using a solution manufactured, by controlling the particle diameter of the ferric hydroxide colloidal particle at a mixing ratio of divalent ferric ion concentration and trivalent ferric ion concentration.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
