PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a support for an electrophotographic photoreceptor by which a highly accurate cutting work can be efficiently carried out without tapering work or the like on the inside of a tube stock material of the support for an electrophotographic photoreceptor upon manufacturing the support, to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that gives a stable full-color image having no image defect such as color shift by using the support for an electrophotographic photoreceptor manufactured by the above manufacturing method, and to provide a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device into which the photoreceptor is incorporated.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the support for the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a step of cutting the outer circumference face of the tube stock to manufacture the support for an electrophotographic photoreceptor, wherein the outer circumference face is cut by using a holding tool which holds the tube stock at both ends, and portions holding the both ends of the tube stock of the holding tool are machined to conical faces.
