PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM receiver capable of reducing power consumption while suppressing an increase in circuit scale. PSOLUTION: The OFDM receiver receives an OFDM signal divided into a plurality of segments. The receiver is provided with a plurality of segment demodulating circuits 20a-20c each applying OFDM demodulation to each of a plurality of segments; and a control circuit 10a for selecting a segment demodulating circuit to be operated among the plurality of segment demodulating circuits 20a-20c, and stopping operations of the unselected segment demodulating circuits.
