PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reception performance while suppressing an increase in circuit scale. PSOLUTION: An OFDM receiver receives a plurality of OFDM signals including at least first and second OFDM signals. The OFDM receiver is provided with a reception mode setting circuit 10a for setting at least one of a plurality of reception modes including a first reception mode for receiving three segments of the first OFDM signal, and a second reception mode for receiving one segment of each of the first and second OFDM signals; a demodulation circuit 100a for selectively applying OFDM demodulation to each of segments of the first and second OFDM signals according to the reception mode set by the reception mode setting circuit; and a diversity reception circuit 8b for diversity-receiving the first and second OFDM signals subjected to the OFDM demodulation by the demodulation circuit 100a, in the second reception mode.
