PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a char-packed bed blow-through-proof unit for a gasification system, capable of surely preventing a char-packed bed from blow-through phenomenon occurrence. PSOLUTION: In the gasification system including a stationary bed-type gasifier 11 where a char-packed bed F is accumulated at the bottom and a gas means functioning to pass a pyrolyzing gas through the char-packed bed F so as to make a gasification of char and a pyrolysis of tar, the char-packed bed blow-through-proof unit comprises an entrance thermometer 21 for detecting the temperature upstream of the char-packed bed F, an exit thermometer 22 detecting the temperature downstream of the char-packed bed F, an air nozzle 23 for injecting compressed air into the char-packed bed F, and a controller 27 for controlling the air nozzle 23 so as to make compressed air agitate the char-packed bed F based on the detected values by the entrance thermometer 21 and the exit thermometer 22.
