PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a synthetic oil of converting an FT (Fischer-Tropsh) synthetic oil to a high value hydrocarbon oil in a high conversion rate, and a hydrocarbon oil for producing hydrogen and a hydrocarbon oil for the base oil of diesel fuel.;SOLUTION: This method for treating the synthetic oil comprises a first fractionating process 10 of obtaining a middle fraction of 150 to 360°C boiling point and a wax fraction heavier than the middle fraction from the FT synthetic oil, a hydrogenation-purifying process 20 of making the middle fraction in contact with a hydrogenation purification catalyst, a second fractionating process 40 of fractionating to a first fraction having 150 to 250°C boiling point and a second fraction heavier than the first fraction, a hydrogenation-decomposing process 30 of the wax fraction by making the wax fraction in contact with a hydrogenation decomposing catalyst and a third fractionating process 50 of fractionating the wax fraction passing through the above process for obtaining a third fraction having 150 to 360°C boiling point and a mixing process of the second fraction and the third fraction to obtain the first fraction as the hydrocarbon oil for producing the hydrogen and the mixture of the second and third fractions as the hydrocarbon oil for the base material of the diesel fuel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
