PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chimney of a natural circulation type boiling water reactor capable suppressing deterioration of a material, and simultaneously suppressing the waste amount when replacing it, by using a chimney having a simple shape, and by forming a part of the chimney from a highly corrosion-resistant metal. PSOLUTION: In this chimney 11, passages R wherein a coolant flows are formed by a chimney shell 11d built in a reactor pressure vessel. A plurality of pipes 11b forming each passage R of the coolant are disposed in the vertical direction in the chimney shell 11d. Each pipe 11b is arranged at a clearance L between a pipe 11b and a pipe 11b respectively, and at least a part or the whole thereof is formed from the highly corrosion-resistant metal.
