NEW STUDENT SELECTION METHOD AND NEW STUDENT SELECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new student selection method and new student selection system for allowing an applicant to smoothly enter an educational institution corresponding to his/her academic achievement without imposing extra loads on the student while each educational institution selects new students appropriately and smoothly while maintaining the academic achievement at a desired level.;SOLUTION: The system uses a counter computer 4 provided for an entrance mediation center 1 side connected via a communication network 2 and an applicant side terminal 3 provided for an applicant side to select new students on the basis of results of unified examination. When an application is made for a school of choice on the basis of results of retrieving an applicable educational institution by self-marking, the applicant is temporarily accepted when the enrollment limit is not reached; when a school record reaches a criterion for selection, the temporary acceptance becomes regular acceptance and the acceptance is settled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
