FISH-FARMING FEED ADDED WITH MARINE ALGA POWDER AND LACTIC ACID BACTERIUM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed additive and feed giving resistance to diseases and giving no influence to growth. PSOLUTION: The fish-farming feed for fish and shellfish, having anti-disease properties is added with marine alga powder either of L. fuscences L., Ecklonia maxima or Laminaria, and lactic acid bacterium either of Lactobacillus plantarum or Lactobacillus casei without lactobacillus-fermenting marine alga powder. It is preferable to add 0.5-3 wt.% of the marine alga powder and 10-40 billion/kg of the lactic acid bacterium. The feed can be brought to feed which is given with heat treatment/molding by an extruder. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
