PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately find a person who is suspected of having a sleep apnea syndrome (SAS) without using a posture sensor. PSOLUTION: An SAS screening system SO is provided with: a measurement means 11 which measures SpOSB2/SBinformation from a fingertip etc. of a subject; an arithmetic processing means 12 which obtains an ODI value by performing prescribed data analysis processing to measurement data; and a display means 13 which displays the ODI value. In the arithmetic processing means 12, an analysis processing means 121 generates time series data of SpOSB2/SB, a Dip detection means 122 detects Dip from the time series data, a time zone extraction means 123 extracts a Dip consecutive occurrence time zone, and thereafter an ODI detection means 124 obtains the ODI value in the Dip consecutive occurrence time zone.
