WATER-QUALITY IMPROVEMENT TOOL, AND WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT MEMBER USING THE TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-quality improvement tool capable of simply removing and purifying chlorine from a water tank for an aquarium fish using city water.;SOLUTION: The water-quality improvement tool 1 is attached to an immersion type filtration device 8. The filtration device 8 contains a filter 12 and at the center part, a center nozzle 10b which releases air fed from an air pump P upward together with a water stream is protruded. The water-quality improvement tool 1 comprises a case 3 sealing a water-quality improvement material 2 such as a chlorine neutralization agent and an activated carbon, and a joint member 4 engaged thereto. The joint member 4 is made of a flexible material such as a flexible vinyl, and attached to the center nozzle 10b of the filtration device 8 by insertion simply and securely. Utilizing the water stream of the filtration device 8, a hazardous component such as chlorine in water can be removed and purified. Further, a structure is simple.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
