PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of production and regasification and an apparatus for production and regasification of gas hydrate, each employing a totally new approach, enabling easy slurry transportation of gas hydrate and requiring no physical dehydrator, dehydration apparatus, etc. such as a gravity dehydration type gas-liquid separator or a screw press type dehydration apparatus.;SOLUTION: Raw material gas (g) and raw material water (w) are subjected to a hydration reaction in a first generator 1 to produce the gas hydrate slurry (s). The gas hydrate slurry (s) is transported to a second generator 2 through slurry transportation, and the raw material gas (g) is fed to the second generator 2 while stirring the gas hydrate slurry (s) therein to perform hydration reaction of a slurry mother liquor of the gas hydrate slurry (s) and the raw material gas (g).
