PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method where an object is delivered in a preferred orientation relative to a delivery site of a patient in the device and the method to deliver the object within the patient. PSOLUTION: A delivery device has an alignment member which can intravascularly deliver the object to the delivery site of the patient. This object is delivered in a predetermined orientation. The object may be, for example, a non-symmetrical form, or include a configuration to need delivery to the site in only one suitable orientation relative to the delivery site.
