PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a wastewater treatment by sand filtering, in which a material handling operation is easy, and a construction can be built easily on the spot, and which can suppress also fears of a deterioration in workability, a deterioration in filtering function of a sand layer, and a delay of the treatment even on the spot in which a great deal of wastewater can generate.;SOLUTION: A drilling hole 11 is formed on ground 10. A partition 12 and a filter 13 having a permeability are arranged on the drilling hole 11 to partition to form a filtering chamber 15 and a water tank room 16 horizontally adjacent to it through the filter 13. The filtering chamber 15 incorporates a water collecting material 18 formed as a cylindrical body having a self-shape retainability and a permeability. The sand layer 17 is formed by filling the inside of the filtering chamber 15 with sand so as to cover the water collecting material 18.
