POROUS CONTINUUM, COLUMN USING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING POROUS CONTINUUM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous continuum used for filler for a column for chromatography such as liquid chromatography or gas chromatography or a porous medium for blood separation and a column using the same, and a method of manufacturing the porous continuum by which ordering of the local structure of a monolith column is performed. PSOLUTION: The porous continuum has many spherical holes 11b formed in a skeleton phase 19c and regularly aligned and the skeleton phase 19c is formed to have a three-dimensional network structure by communicating the adjacent spherical holes with each other in the contact points. The spherical holes 11b is transferred by a template of a polymer particle to have uniform size and to perform ordering of the alignment of the holes. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
