PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost and highly functional optical element, a finder optical system unit, an imaging optical system unit, a light-emitting and receiving optical system unit for distance measurement, a camera, and manufacturing methods thereof.;SOLUTION: Using an in-mold molding technique or an insert-molding technique used for decoration use and display members, and molding a sheet or a film on which an optically opaque pattern is formed, together with the optical element in an integrated manner; the optical element includes a function which is conventionally provided by another component or by an additional process, in addition to the original functions, which enables cost reduction, by increasing the degree of freedom in design, reducing the number of components, reducing the man-hours for assembling, etc. Namely, a low-cost and high-functionality optical element can be obtained by the increased in the flexibility of design, reduction in the number of components, reduction of the man-hours for assembly, etc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
