PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable shape state measuring method, a cable shape state measuring system used in it, a cable shape state measuring program, and a cable state evaluation method for accurately measuring the shape state of a cable in the cable extending direction.;SOLUTION: The cable shape state measuring method comprises a cross-sectional shape acquisition process for acquiring the cross-sectional shape of a plurality of core cross-sections arranged with predetermined intervals parallel to the X-Y plane and in the Z direction in the cores arranged so that their cable extending direction intersects the X-Y plane as two dimensional data in the X-Y plane, wherein X, Y and Z are three orthogonal directions, a cross-sectional center coordinates acquisition process for specifying the cross-sectional center of the core for each of the plurality of core cross-sections from the two-dimensional data of the plurality of cross-sectional shapes and acquiring the cross-sectional center of the plurality of core cross-sections as a three-dimensional coordinates on the basis of the pitch interval, and a shape state output process for outputting the shape state in the cable extending direction as a value on the basis of the three-dimensional coordinates of the cross-sectional center obtained in the cross-sectional center coordinates acquisition process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
