PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary recrystallization-annealing facility for grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet with which in the production of the grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet, lowering of the yield can be prevented by restraining variation of crystal grain diameter in the width direction of the steel sheet low. PSOLUTION: The primary recrystallization-annealing facility for grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet is provided with sensors which can perform on-line measurement of the crystal grain diameter of the steel sheet at two or more places in the steel sheet width direction at the outlet side of a continuous annealing furnace. Further, one or more sensors which can perform on-line measurement of the crystal grain diameter of the steel sheet in a movable manner in the steel sheet direction can be provided to the outlet side of a continuous annealing furnace. Here, as the sensor which can perform on-line measurement of the crystal grain diameter of the steel sheet, it is preferable to use the sensor of a configuration of winding an exciting primary coil and an output secondary voltage coil around a U-shaped coil.
