SCORING SYSTEM AND SCORING METHOD FOR CALCULATING ILLEGAL SCORE OF CREDIT CARD USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scoring system and a scoring method for calculating a score reflecting probability that use of a credit card is illegal, fit for a property of the credit card, i.e., consecutive use by a user, converting a category of a sample into a real number to properly reflect it in the score.;SOLUTION: An item included in history data for each the user is added to an item for integration of the score in addition to an item included in received authority data, and the score reflecting possibility of the illegal use is calculated on the basis of the illegality appearance probability based on specific items. The category set in each the item is converted into the real number as a numerical value having relation to the illegality appearance probability by converting the category into a logit value, and contribution of each the item to the score is adjusted by use of a regression coefficient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
