PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food comprising dry prune containing ume flesh extract obtained by combining dry prune and ume flesh extract to soften the sweetness of the dry prune.;SOLUTION: The dry prune containing ume flesh extract is obtained by filling the ume flesh extract in an empty space of a pitted dry prune. At the pitted dry prune, an inner space is formed at the portion occupied by the seed before pitted, and the ume flesh extract can be charged in the inner space through the hole made when the seed is taken out. The ume flesh extract is charged into the inner part of the dry prune, so that the ume flesh extract does not directly touch the tongue just after eaten and the sweetness of the prune and the sourness of the ume flesh extract touch the tongue in combination when chewed.
