PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for prize awarding for power usage that can motivate consumers to use nighttime power, and efficiently promote the use of nighttime power.;SOLUTION: The system for prize awarding for power usage comprises: an application requirement decision means 31 for deciding a prize period and prize qualifications as application requirements for application for a prize for power usage; an application acceptance means 32 for announcing the application requirements and accepting applications for the prize from consumers; a power usage acquisition means 33 for acquiring each consumer's daily power usage measured in a predetermined time zone; a nighttime usage rate management means 34 for calculating each consumer's nighttime usage rate representing nighttime power usage and posting the nighttime usage rate in the prize period for a predetermined period; and a prize qualification means 35 for qualifying consumers whose nighttime usage rate exceeds a predetermined standard for the prize.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
