PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building-up welding material having wear resistance at high temperature which is equal or more excellent as compared with conventional build-up welding materials for hot-forging dies of Ni-based alloy and Co-based alloy.;SOLUTION: The build-up welding material for hot-forging dies excellent in the wear resistance at high temperature is a build-up welding material which consists essentially of Fe, and uses powder as a raw material and, after build-up welding, contains, by mass, 1.2 to 26.0% Ti, 0.5 to 12.0 B, ≤28.0% Cr and ≤10% in the total sum of the elements of the group 4A excepting Ti and Cr, the elements of the group 5A and the elements of the group 6A. A boride or/and its composite compound containing one or more kinds of the elements which are selected from a group containing the elements of the group 4A, the elements of the group 5A, the elements of the group 6A and Fe are dispersed at the volumetric rate of 3 to 50% and the dispersed boride or/and its composite compound of ≥50% by the volumetric rate is TiB2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
