PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide proper information to each individual user without disclosing privacy information, by which the individual user can be identified, to a server or the like at all.;SOLUTION: In this information provision system, an attribute information writing program (a card writing application) for writing attribute information into an attribute information recording medium such as an IC card is downloaded to a user terminal from an information distribution server. In the user terminal, the attribute information (liking, taste or the like) of the user oneself is written in the IC card by use of the card writing application. The user possesses the IC card written with the attribute information, and makes an information presentation device (an information board) disposed as a public terminal, for example, read the attribute information recorded in the IC card. The information board transmits information requirement including the read attribute information to the information distribution server. The information distribution server selects the information according to the attribute information included in the information requirement, and transmits it to the information board.
