ASSEMBLING JIG FOR LOWER FLANGE CONNECTING SPLICE PLATES OF H-SECTION STEEL FRAME, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING SPLICE PLATES USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly tool which is small in size, light in weight, easy to handle, and drastically improves efficiency of assembly work of splice plates, and also to provide a method of assembling the splice plates using the assembly tool.;SOLUTION: The assembling tool or a jig 1 is formed of a pair of engaging members 2, a pair of suspending members 3, a support member 4, and a roller member 5. The engaging members 2 engage with areas near both side edges of inner splice plates 25 on a lower flange 23. The suspending members 3 each have an upper portion jointed to the engaging member 2 so as to adjust relative vertical locations, and suspend both outsides of lateral edges of the flange 23. The support member 4 crosses under the flange 23 while keeping a predetermined parallel interval away from the same, and jointed to the suspending members 3 at both edges. The roller member 5 on the support member 4 has an outer splice plate 26 mounted thereon at a location that does not interfere with bolt holes and carries the outer splice plate 26 in a longitudinal direction of the H-section steel frame 21. The roller member 5 forms a rocking fulcrum in a major axis direction of the outer splice plate 26, and functions to rock the outer splice plate 26, to thereby carry out parallel adjustment with respect to the flange 23.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
