PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the constitutional simplification and the downsizing of a drive unit for a brushless motor and the downsizing of the brushless motor having the above drive unit within, by reducing the number of parts by a high withstand voltage pre-driver IC with a built-in motor control LOGIC.;SOLUTION: The gate driver IC chip and the pre-driver IC chip of the drive unit for the brushless motor are integrated by epoxy mold resin into one high withstand voltage pre-driver IC, whereby it is made into such simple constitution that the main components on a printed wiring board being the embodiment of the drive unit are only the above high withstand voltage pre-driver IC, a MOSFET, and peripheral passive parts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
