PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise and vibration while ultimately improving power generation efficiency with high output by reducing a part causing iron losses, that is, eddy current losses occurring in a conventional transverse magnetic flux motor. PSOLUTION: The external rotation type permanent magnet excitation transverse magnetic flux motor is composed of a stator comprising each stator powdered iron core press-molded through a die; each stator stratification iron core laminated onto upper/lower layer parts on the circumference of each stator powdered iron core, while being mutually spaced apart at a fixed interval; each stator winding which is composed of a plurally-stacked coil, wound around each stator powdered iron core so as to allow a current to flow, and arranged at the interval, between the stator stratification iron cores; and a rotor which is arranged so as to circularly surround the stator placed in the center, while each rotor permanent magnet and each rotor powdered iron core are alternately arrayed so as to face each other.
