METHOD OF CONTROLLING DAMPING FREQUENCY OF DAMPING MATERIAL, DAMPING MATERIAL AND SOUND INSULATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the damping frequency of a damping material so as to make the damping material possible to easily deal with damping of various frequencies, the damping material and a sound insulating apparatus.;SOLUTION: The frequency range where damping is possible to be performed in a high efficiency can be widened by making a damping material flexible to vibration by providing easily bendable easy-to-bend portions 1 at parts of the damping material 10; and also, a variety of frequencies can be simply damped in a high efficiency by making the damping material a material which vibrates with an amplitude optimum for damping with respect to a vibration to be the object of damping by setting nodes in the damping material 10 by providing the easy-to-bend portions 1 at appropriate positions. Thereby, the measure for damping the variety of frequencies can be made easy since it is only necessary to form the easy-to-bend portions 1 but not necessary to change the blending or thickness of the material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
