PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contaminated air 2 from drifting near a cutting edge by smoothly recovering the contaminated air 2 generated in a tunnel 1 and maintain a favorable working environment near the cutting edge by efficiently recovering the contaminated air 2 without diffusion.;SOLUTION: A carriage 12 mounted with a blowing means for pressure-blowing air and an exhaust duct 15 for sucking the contaminated air is arranged rearwardly of a generation source of the contaminated air 2 when ventilating the contaminated air 2 generated in the tunnel 1. A spiral flow is generated by blowing the air toward an inner wall surface in the tunnel 1 in the vicinity of the generation source of the contaminated air 2 from the blowing means, and the contaminated air 2 is recovered by generating a tornado in the vicinity of an intake port 16 by a synergistic effect of the spiral flow and a suction force of the exhaust duct 15 with the intake port 16 arranged near the center P of a cross section of the tunnel 1.
