PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture meter with a shell cutting and inspecting function for a grain dryer, using one device for stably cutting and inspecting the shells of grains and measuring moisture values.;SOLUTION: The moisture meter 15 with the shell cutting and inspecting function comprises a shell cutting and inspecting part 16 and a moisture measuring part 17 sequentially laid on each other, and a transfer means 18 arranged for transferring to the moisture measuring part 17 grains after detected by the shell cutting and inspecting part 16. The shell cutting and inspecting part 16 has an inclined rotary disc 20 having a plurality of holding portions 20a arranged at the peripheral edge for holding the grains, a base plate 19 on which the rotary disc 20 is placed, an optical portion 24 for detecting transmitted lights from the grains arranged on the upper side of the rotary disc 20, a sample grain residing portion 22 formed on the lower side of the rotary disc 20, and a discharge portion 28 for discharging the grains inspected by the optical portion 24 provided on the base plate 10 from the holding portions 20a to the transfer means 18.
