PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save on the trouble of scoring and grading checked educational teaching materials while increasing the accuracy of scoring and grading and dispensing with unnecessary labor.;SOLUTION: A teaching material processing apparatus: comprises an image input means 3 for reading in an image of an educational teaching material with answers written in answer fields and check results of the answers written to capture image data; a recognition means 5 for recognizing the written contents of the check results according to the image data; calculation/processing means 6 and 7 for scoring and grading the check results written on the educational teaching material according to the recognition results by the recognition means 5; and a printing means 8 for printing out the scoring and grading results on the educational teaching material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
