PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extract from a renewable raw material for cosmetic and/or dermatological application which would be able to be used in cosmetic or even pharmaceutical preparations and which, besides care properties, would above all have improved protective properties for human skin and/or hair, for example against UV radiation and other environmental influences, and at the same time a preventive and healing effect on manifestations of skin ageing and which could be used as anti-inflammatory agents.;SOLUTION: The cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical preparation contains an extract from the pericarp of the plant Litchi chinensis Sonn.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
