PHOTOCATALYST FILM, SEMICONDUCTOR PHOTOELECTRODE FOR WATER DECOMPOSITION, AND WATER DECOMPOSITION DEVICE USING THE SAME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst film which has sensitivity to both ultraviolet light and visible light, to provide a semiconductor photoelectrode suitable for producing hydrogen and oxygen from water, which has a structure having the photocatalyst and color-increased type solar cell piled up, and to provide a water decomposition device using the same. PSOLUTION: The photocatalyst film is provided with a first photocatalyst film 18 formed on a transparent conductive film 19a at the whole face of a transparent substrate 15 and a second photocatalyst film 21 formed on the first photocatalyst film 18, wherein the first photocatalyst film 18 is comprised of a TiOSBx/SBfilm (x2.0) containing oxygen and titanium in a stoichiometric rate of oxygen deficiency and the second photocatalyst film 21 is comprised of TiOSB2/SBfilm.
