REFORMING WORK METHOD FOR CORRUGATED ASBESTOS SLATE ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming work method for laying a new roof including no asbestos, on an old roof laid with corrugated asbestos slate, leaving it as it is.;SOLUTION: To construct the new roof with new roof boards 3 including no asbestos, on the old roof laid with the corrugated asbestos slate 13, another new horizontal member 2 of C-shaped steel is laid as a base member above an old horizontal member 11, and in laying the new horizontal member 2, a top support hardware 1 comprising a lateral pair of leg pieces 37 straddling a crest part, and a connecting body of the new horizontal member 2, is interposed between the new horizontal member 2 and the corrugated asbestos slate 13. The top support hardware 1 is fixed to support the new horizontal member 2 by screwing an internal-external screw type slit screw to an old nut fastening external screw 25 formed at the upper end of a shank of an old hook bolt 17, then fastening the slit screw by a fastener 33, and screwing and fastening a new nut to the upper end of the slit screw penetrating the center of the top support hardware 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
