METHOD OF CONTROLLING HEMIPTERAN INSECT PEST IN PADDY FIELD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable provision of a drug treatment method by one-time spreading of an agricultural chemical and furthermore by avoiding troublesome direct spreading onto stems and leaves of the crops of the paddy field in the method of controlling hemipteran insect pests in the paddy field and to enable prolongation of the aftereffect of the drug as long as possible to maintain the effect of the drug until the beginning of autumn. PSOLUTION: The method of controlling hemipteran insect pests in the paddy field comprises putting an agricultural chemical-containing fertilizer composition containing a fertilizer component and a nitromethylene-based, nitroimino-based or cyanoimino-based insecticidal compound having water solubility of 100 ppm or more in the paddy field as side dressing for rice seedlings when transplanted.
