PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dubbing device which preliminarily informs a user that a copy-prohibited part is omitted, when content to which various kinds of copy-restriction information are set is copied, and copies only the copy-permissible part of the content, and also provide a dubbing method and a dubbing program thereof.;SOLUTION: The dubbing device is provided with; a copy-restriction determination means which determines whether copy-restriction information on at least one scene among scenes constituting a program selected by a dubbing selection means indicates contents which can not be copied; a message generation means which generates a message indicating that the copying of the scenes constituting the program selected by the dubbing selection means is restricted when the copy-restriction information on at least one of the scenes constituting the program is determined to indicate the contents which can not be copied.
