PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve program performance and to reduce load on a developer by efficiently and automatically finding an accurate tuning point in a simple manner. PSOLUTION: In performance tuning, the developer first prepares a program in (1). The developer then gives data A, data B, data C, ... to the prepared program to execute the program, and the performance index values of functions (here, for example, Func1 to Func4) are measured for each data as a measurement result in (2). The measurement results are combined for each function to obtain a composition result and the number of composition (experimental value), and according to the composition result, the functions Func1 and Func2 are to be tuned among the functions Func1 to Func4 in (3).
