PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the preservation of cut flowers capable of maintaining a cut flower in a state close to a real flower over a long period with a simple treatment and provide a method for producing a processed cut flower capable of keeping a state close to a real flower over a long period.;SOLUTION: The method for the preservation of a cut flower by replacing the tissue liquid in a cut flower with a preservation liquid comprises (1) a dehydration step to replace the tissue liquid in the cut flower with a hydrophilic organic solvent and (2) an immersion step to replace the hydrophilic organic solvent in the cut flower with a preservation liquid comprising a nonvolatile or scarcely volatile organic solvent having affinity to the hydrophilic organic solvent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
