PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method of an active vibration control system enabling even a nonexpert to easily be designed (selected), a control system in the active vibration control system such as an AMD used for the vibration control of a building structure, a machine structure or the like.;SOLUTION: A plurality of vibration frequencies ωn are selected in the vibration frequency range of a vibration control object such as the building structure or the machine structure with respect to an active vibration control device such as the AMD. A vibration expert designs control systems at each vibration frequency beforehand, and selects the control system designed with a frequency closest to the natural frequency of the vibration control object out of the designed control systems and incorporates it into a controller. When there is a problem of deviation between the vibration control object frequency when designed and the actual vibration control object frequency, the correction of the control system by a frequency shift is performed if necessary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
