PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deciding method of the optimum value of a design parameter for deciding the design parameter having high reliability by taking the variation of the amount of input or the like into consideration. PSOLUTION: In a design object provided with the design parameter, by preparing two or more data having the actual value of the amount of input to the design object, determining the predicted value of the amount of output which is calculated from the actual value of the amount of input included in the data and/or the actual value of the amount of input and a design object model and setting one or a plurality of constraint conditions using the actual value of the amount of input and/or the predicted value of the amount of output, the design parameter is decided so as to minimize or maximize a performance function under the constraint conditions.
