PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a build-up welding device for a structure, capable of forming a homogeneous build-up welding layer in a short period of time on the inner surface of a large-sized structure arranged vertically or slantingly, and to provide a build-up welding method using the same device.;SOLUTION: The build-up welding device is provided with: a first and second rails 13, 14, which are frame-shaped and fitted to an inner surface 11 of a long, hollow, large-sized structure in a circumferential direction with support fittings 12; a vertical guide member 17, which is connected to a pair of travelling carriages 15, 16 moving along the first and second rails 13, 14; a lifting carriage 18, which vertically moves along the vertical guide member 17; a horizontal rod member 19, which is attached to the lifting carriage 18 and horizontally advances/retreats; a welding torch 24, which is fitted to a fitting 20 at one end part of the horizontal rod member 19 in a manner that the welding torch 24 tilts and advances/retreats in the direction to a weld part of the inner surface 11 of the structure through an advancing/retreating mechanism 21 and a tilting mechanism 22; a controller 25; and a welding machine 27, which supplies a welding wire 26 and electric power to the welding torch 24.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
