PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure information security during the transport of a damaged hard disk drive. PSOLUTION: The maintenance information providing device 3 is provided with: a suspicious component information acquisition means 31 for acquiring suspicious component information for specifying the type of suspicious components estimated as the factor of the failure of maintenance object equipment ;and an operation instruction information transmitting means 23 for transmitting operation instruction information to a notification destination device 5 when the type of the suspicious components is a hard disk.
