PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image detection tracing device for accurately detecting and continuously following up an object from a captured image.;SOLUTION: This image detection tracing device is provided with an image input part 10 for capturing a moving image; a moving region existence level calculation part 21 for detecting a moving region in each frame of the captured image, and for outputting the detection result as numerics; a pattern detection existence level calculation part 22 for detecting a detection object pattern in each frame of the captured image, and for outputting the detection result as numerics; a pattern tracing existence level calculation part 23 for tracing the detection object pattern about the captured image of each frame, and for outputting the tracing result as numerics; an existence level compounding part 30 for compounding the numerics output from the moving region existence level calculation part 21, the pattern detection existence level calculation part 22 and the pattern tracing existence level calculation part 23 and a pattern window control part 40 for successively calculating the location of the detection object pattern in the frame based on the compounded numerics.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
