PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the topic tracing method and device and program of a moving image for highly precisely tracing a topic changing with time and its recording medium.;SOLUTION: In a step S1, moving image contents are stored in a moving image storage part 11, and a topic is extracted from each moving image content. In a step S2, the topic to be traced is selected. Furthermore, a tracing target profile is generated based on the featured values of the tracing target topic. In a step S3, the topic similar to the tracing target topic is extracted from a number of topics extracted from the moving image, and presented to a user. In a step S4, the tracing target profile is updated so that the evaluation of the user on the similar topic presented to the user can be reflected in the subsequent similar topic extraction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
