PROCESSING OF PILOT AND NON-PILOT CHANNELS IN CDMA SEARCHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for a mobile station to be synchronized, on a time scale, with a nearby base station using pilot channels regarding technologies in order for the mobile station to use a traffic channel and communicate through the communication network.;SOLUTION: Acquisition of scrambling code phase offset in a CDMA receiver is accelerated by using both pilot and non-pilot channels. Results of correlations are combined to process a detection probability compared to miss-detect threshold and false-alarm threshold.
