PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum encryption system in which the unauthorized read (wiretapping) of a phase modulation amount by a malicious third party (wiretapper) is prevented, that is, security is achieved surely, and also, a quantum encryption (optical signal transmission) system in which eavesdropping by a malicious third party (wiretapper) is prevented, that is, safety is achieved surely.;SOLUTION: There are provided a monitor 500 are provided, where the monitor 500 monitors the cycle of light pulses passing through a transmission channel and the intensity of the light pulse and a computer 250 detects the wiretapping of the light pulse, when the light pulse cycle does not match a predetermined cycle, and detects the wiretapping of the light pulse, when the monitored light pulse intensity does not match predetermined intensity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
