PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for synthesizing an organic compound, which immediately deals with the change of the sequence pattern of an organic compound and has excellent uniformity of an organic compound to be synthesized, a light irradiation apparatus, a substrate for synthesizing an organic compound and a method for synthesizing an organic compound.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for synthesizing an organic compound synthesizes an organic compound that comprises one or more kinds of polymerizable repeating units and are polymerized by light irradiation and is equipped with a substrate for synthesizing an organic compound, which holds an organic material for synthesizing an organic compound and at least one light irradiation apparatus for irradiating the substrate for synthesizing an organic compound with a light necessary for synthesis.
