PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending apparatus for a plate glass having a compound curvature for causing no scratch in a final bed of a gas-hearth apparatus for forming a bent plate glass having the compound curvature and maintaining high production efficiency without losing simplicity of level adjustment operation in the final bed in switching a type. PSOLUTION: The bending apparatus for a plate glass having a compound curvature is provided for connecting, to a cooling apparatus at a connection angle (α), an outlet side end of a linear final bed in which a transfer surface ranging from an inlet side of a bed to a height-level displacement point set in an intermediate portion between an inlet side end and an outlet side end of the bed has a flat height level and the transfer surface ranging from the displacement point to the outlet side end has a gradually reduced height level when viewing from the side, or a final bed in which the transfer surface from the inlet side end of the bed to the outlet side end has a flat height level and edges of the final end on the outlet side are chamfered, wherein a curvature of a bent plate glass having the compound curvature in a transfer direction is adjusted at the displacement point and a corner of a connected portion.
