PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvesting sickle that can perform efficient harvesting work with no cause of slip just like flat blade and in the state that the section plane is not collapsed like saw-teeth, when vegetables or flowering plants are harvested.;SOLUTION: In a sickle that has a curved blade plate 1 fixed to the top end of the holing rod 2, the flat blade 4 is formed on the inside edge of the curve and a many of intermittent points 5, 5 are formed on the blade edges of the flat blade. In order to form the intermittent point 5, 5, a many of concave grooves 6, 6 are formed on the surface 1a of the blade plate 1 in the direction crossing to the inner edge 3 and the inside edge part of the back face 1b of the blade plate is polished in an inclined face to form the flat blade 4 whereby the concave parts 6 appears as intermittent points.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
